retlivo is a free profit and pricing tool for the people who actually move product — e-commerce sellers, small-store owners, freelancers and the makers who sell at weekend markets. It was built to end the kitchen-table friction of asking "is this actually worth selling?" and fumbling a calculator to find out.

Why margin math trips people up

Gross margin and cost margin are easy to confuse, so shopkeepers pick the wrong number and under-price or mis-read their profit. retlivo keeps them separate and labelled: gross margin is profit as a share of the selling price, cost margin is profit as a share of the money you spent. When the target is the reverse — "I need this much margin, what do I charge?" — the reverse mode does that math in one step.

The numbers are shown, not hidden

No black box. Beneath the tool, every result is rebuilt line by line: how the total cost was added up, how profit came from price minus cost, and how each margin was converted to a percentage. You can audit a figure against your own accounts instead of trusting a raw answer.

Privacy first

All arithmetic runs in your browser. Your costs, prices and margins are never uploaded, stored or sold. No account, no server ever sees a number you type.

The tool is free, supported by advertising and the occasional affiliate link. The interface stays clean so the only thing between you and the answer is the figures you enter.
